Spring Season

The team fee is usually covered by a team sponsor, although some teams are self-sponsored.
SFGSL includes the Open League and Women's+ League. Each league is organized into skill-based divisions, from A through E. More than 900 members participate across over 50 teams each season.

Players are combined on teams regardless of skill level, and beginners are welcome.

League Rules & Guidelines
USA Bat Testing & Certification
Please review USA Softball's equipment rules before playing. Bats without an ASA certification mark are not approved unless they were manufactured before 2000 and, at the umpire's sole discretion, would pass the USA Softball certification test.
Tournaments & Associations
SFGSL is a member of the iPride Association for the Open Division and the ASANA association for the Women's+ Division. Both organizations support tournaments in cities across the country throughout the year.
