Tom Zerucha
1953–2010
The Renegades team and the SFGSL community lost a fiercely loyal member when Tom Zerucha passed away in early August at the age of 57. A native of Ohio, Zerucha attended Ohio State University. As a San Francisco resident, he was a middle school teacher in the San Francisco Unified School District. Tom was a star pitcher, first baseman, and power hitter for the Renegades from 2000 through 2010, and helped guide the team through numerous division and league championships.

Kevin James Snow
September 10, 1959–January 6, 2010
Longtime San Francisco resident Kevin Snow, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, died unexpectedly of a heart attack in Dallas, Texas, while traveling to his Uncle Jimmy’s funeral. Kevin served in the U.S. Navy, attended the University of Missouri–Kansas City, and lived and worked in Kansas City, Missouri, for many years.

Angelo Maggio
1947–2008
Little did Teresa and Pasquale Maggio know that on August 4, 1947, they brought into the world a very special little bambino. Angelo Vittorio Maggio was born in Rapallo, Italy. Like many European families, his family decided to come to America in search of new opportunities. The family settled in the Bay Area in the late 1950s, and San Francisco would never be the same.

Joe Cooper
1965–2006
Joe Cooper was born at Hillcrest Hospital in Petaluma on January 15, 1965, and died at his home in Petaluma on November 15, 2006, after a yearlong struggle with cancer. He was 41. During his last days, Joe was surrounded by family. He is survived by his parents, Ray and Dodie Cooper, and his brothers, Ray Cooper Jr. and Alvin Cooper. His grandmother, Faye Busalacchi, predeceased him on March 6, 2006.

Patricia Gail “Patty” Price
1952–2006
Patricia Gail “Patty” Price passed away on June 15, 2006, at home in San Leandro after a nearly three-year struggle with the complications of and treatment for ovarian cancer. She was 54. Born May 17, 1952, she grew up in Denver, Colorado, and moved to the Bay Area when she was in her mid-30s.
