Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains the principles SFGSL follows when collecting, using, communicating, disclosing, and safeguarding personal information.
Our Privacy Principles
- Before or at the time personal information is collected, we will identify the purposes for which it is being collected.
- We will collect and use personal information solely to fulfill the purposes we specify and for other compatible purposes, unless we obtain the individual’s consent or are required by law.
- We will retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill those purposes.
- We will collect personal information through lawful and fair means and, where appropriate, with the knowledge or consent of the individual concerned.
- Personal information should be relevant to the purposes for which it will be used and, to the extent necessary, accurate, complete, and up to date.
- We will use reasonable security safeguards to protect personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification.
Account Profile Pages
When a logged-in member views your profile page, the only visible profile details are your preferred positions, playing experience, highest level played, and About Me information.
Private information—including your email address, mailing address, telephone numbers, and date of birth—is hidden from league members and is accessible only to SFGSL Board Members.
Payment Processing Security
Payment processing is handled by Authorize.net. The SFGSL website is hosted by LeagueApps, which provides services for sports organizations across the country.
HTTPS is used when entering the payment gateway to help secure information submitted during online transactions.
Before entering payment information: Confirm that the page address begins with https:// and review the browser’s security information in the address bar. Never continue if your browser displays a security or certificate warning.
